I read and update this policy frequently, so it is subject to change.

PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THIS SALES POLICY BEFORE PURCHASING ONE OF RUBY'S RABBITRY'S RABBITS. YOU WILL BE HELD TO IT WHETHER OR NOT YOU HAVE READ IT. I WILL SEND IT TO YOU SO YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO READ IT BEFORE YOU BUY.

Each of my rabbits are special to me, I have raised them, and loved them since they were born, and I want them all to get the best of homes. I reserve the right to cancel any sale if I feel the need to (regardless of circumstance and with no prior notice). If, after a sale, your rabbit isn't a fit for you, or you just don't have the time for him/her let me know, and I will gladly take him/her back, and offer another if wanted, however, I will not refund.

 

I want both you and your bunny to be happy, so, I will gladly work with you to achieve that. If one of my bunnies that are for sale dies or gets hurt/sick, I will let you know immediately, and help you choose another one. But if it dies or gets hurt/sick while in your care, that's on you. But, please reach out to me and I will definitely try to help you out!

As I stated before, there are NO REFUNDS. Make sure to research about how to take care of a rabbit, and make sure you have the money, room, and time before you purchase one. That will help you to not have to return your rabbit. Keep in mind, Holland Lops live for about 10 years.

All of my rabbits are healthy to my knowledge at the time of sale, and I give them a thorough health check before I sell them, as well as regular health checks throughout their time in my barn. I also make sure my breeding rabbits are happy and healthy, too. My breeding rabbits get health checks regularly and always before each breeding, they get the best care possible and lots of love. All my bunnies are raised to be friendly and sweet, this helps them to have a friendly and nice personality, ideal for a Holland Lop. But, regardless of having great care and plenty of socializing, rabbits are fragile, things happen, and some rabbits will never be sweet.

 

I check my bunnies' genders multiple times throughout their stay with me... when they're born, at about 4 weeks, again at 6 weeks, again at 8 weeks, and the day before I sell it to you, but, there is always a chance that I will be wrong (rabbits are very hard to tell gender on, especially when they are under six months), so, please check for yourself when you get him/her to confirm. If, when you check the gender of your bunny, it is wrong, let me know and I will check with you. If it is indeed the wrong gender I will offer a replacement of the same quality if wanted.

I WILL NOT SELL A RABBIT UNDER 8 WEEKS.​ This gives the babies time to mature, they have enough time with their mom, and they are able to make it on their own. A lot of times I will "grow out" bunnies to see if they are something I want for my program, so I might keep them for a few months.

I take time to check emails/texts daily, and update my website/Facebook page as often as I can. So I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Ruby's Rabbitry does not reserve/hold rabbits for anyone other than family or close friends, so, if a rabbit has "HOLD" on it, then

1) I am reserving it for a friend/family member,

or,

2) I'm looking at it for myself, I get first choice always,

or

3) it is hurt/sick and is healing (if you are looking at said rabbit I will always inform you of sickness/injury).

​I will send each of my rabbits with a bag of starter feed so you can easily switch to a different feed. I feed my rabbits Purina Show Rabbit feed, and of course unlimited hay, occasional veggies/fruit, etc.

My show/brood quality rabbits will also come with a pedigree, care sheet, and bill of sale. My pet quality bunnies will come with a bill of sale and a care sheet. I also keep a copy of the pedigree and bill of sale in my records. I have your contact info saved, too, in case I need to contact you for any reason. I love updates on the bunnies, too, so feel free to send pictures and updates! You can also leave a review and pictures on my Facebook page that is linked at the top of the page!

All of my rabbits are priced based on my personal evaluation of that particular rabbit. This includes but is not limited to: color, sex, personality, faults, and conformation.

I cannot guarantee a winning show rabbit, an amazing brood bunny, or the best pet, but I try to be accurate with my evaluation of the bunnies, I handle my bunnies daily from birth, and I hope they exceed your expectations.
